Tendinopathies

Tendons connect muscle to bone, acting like a spring to absorb and release force, allowing us to run, jump, skip, and walk.
When we engage in activities like running, jumping, throwing, and exercising, our tendons are put under load. This can lead to positive changes like increased load tolerance and strength. However, when a failed healing response occurs, tendinopathy can develop, resulting in an “angry” tendon.

Why?

Tendons have a limit on how much load they can handle. When this limit is exceeded, a tendinopathy develops. Stress and poor recovery can also exacerbate the issue,

What Does It Feel Like?
